Asgard was one of the Nine Realms and the home of the Asgardians, a powerful race recognized by the galaxy as honorable and brave peacekeepers.
Asgard was destroyed during Ragnarök when Thor ordered Loki to unleash Surtur in order to kill their sister Hela. Led by their new king, a large number of survivors fled onboard a starship, planning to relocate to Earth.

Jotunheim– Featured in Thor, Jotunheim was the setting of the final battle between the Frost Giants and the Asgardians during the Asgard-Jotunheim War. After the battle, Odin took the Casket of Ancient Winters, depriving the Frost Giants of their power, and Laufey’s son, who was left to die by his own father. Without the Casket, the realm began to decay and break apart so that the full force of the Bifrost could rip it apart.

The planet Sovereign– featured in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 used powerful and rare Anulax Batteries as a power source for the infrastructures of the planet. However, these batteries were often attacked and devoured by the Abilisk, a multi-dimensional being. As a response, the Sovereign hired the Guardians of the Galaxy to fight the Abilisk.
