Planets From Marvel Cinematic Universe Pt. 1

Today we are doing a planetary lesson, more specifically an MCU planetary lesson. Over the past decade, Marvel Cinematic Universe had graced us with a lot of mind-blowing Planets and locations concepts in their movies. in part 1 of this Article, we take a look at some of those awesome places that exist in our favourite movies. Let us start!

EGO– featured in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. this planet was more of a Celestial and StarLord’s father…very Bad guy but not Thanos BAD lol

 

Vormir– featured in Avengers Infinity War, this is where the soul stone was hidden and where Gamora… well you know.

 

Xandar is the homeworld of the Xandarians and home to many other species as the capital of the Nova Empire with a population of 12 billion. Xandar orbited around three suns.[3] The planet was decimated by Thanos in order to obtain the Power Stone.

TITAN– Featured in Infinity War. Titan is the wrecked homeworld of Thanos.

 

Asgard was one of the Nine Realms and the home of the Asgardians, a powerful race recognized by the galaxy as honorable and brave peacekeepers.
Asgard was destroyed during Ragnarök when Thor ordered Loki to unleash Surtur in order to kill their sister Hela. Led by their new king, a large number of survivors fled onboard a starship, planning to relocate to Earth.

 

Jotunheim– Featured in Thor, Jotunheim was the setting of the final battle between the Frost Giants and the Asgardians during the Asgard-Jotunheim War. After the battle, Odin took the Casket of Ancient Winters, depriving the Frost Giants of their power, and Laufey’s son, who was left to die by his own father. Without the Casket, the realm began to decay and break apart so that the full force of the Bifrost could rip it apart.

 

The planet Sovereign– featured in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 used powerful and rare Anulax Batteries as a power source for the infrastructures of the planet. However, these batteries were often attacked and devoured by the Abilisk, a multi-dimensional being. As a response, the Sovereign hired the Guardians of the Galaxy to fight the Abilisk.
