Rihanna is basically living in the studio.

Of course, this has been rumored for about a month but this is the first we hear of it from a major source. For the upcoming dancehall project, Rihanna looks to explore her Caribbean roots, collaborating with some of the biggest reggae and dancehall producers and singers. Contributors have reportedly submitted over 500 songs by sources like R. City, Ricky Blaze, Kranium, Chronixx, Supa Dups and others.
With several of the star’s most popular singles being in the dancehall realm, it’s no surprise to see her taking this direction if this ends up being true. The arrival of both albums is currently unspecified and it’s unclear whether or not they will drop together but with 500 songs to sift through, her team may be up day and night preparing this project.
